WINTERSUN  2005         The Cars

I had trouble seeing all the cars. Everywhere we walked there were nice cars to look at. Needless to say, I couldn't get a picture of every car that was there. Here is a good cross section .

I dare not try and identify the first car. It is what most would refer to as a Rat Rod..and you can't get any rattier than this. I can't imagine if it drives or not, but I suggest it would be a hand full if it does. The next pic is along the same lines but not as radical. This did in fact cruise a bit.

Hiboy 34 tudor. It is different and I liked it. The next pic is a neat Mainline with the rebel flag..I guess he's into rockabilly as well.

I just wonder if that double decker bus was driven all the way up to the event. I take my hat off to the driver if he did. The next pic is a neat Chev. The owner told the story that this was being done up when the Helensbourgh fires went through the factory where it was being worked on. It was not totalled, but was burnt out, and in fact was one of 2 cars that were salvaged after the fire went through.

Big block powered truck was different. The next pic took me back to my first car, a 1958 MK2 Zephyr. This is a 59 and was very claen and straight. Good to see a few of these crusing around. I still like their lines. Pity there were no MK3s, they are the best in my opinion.

This coupe got every ones attention as it came down the street with the headers uncorked. I was told it belongs to the guys from Cruising magazine. The next pic is a 35 I guess.

This was very nice in deed. Looks like a Merc but I think it may be a Chev.  Next pic is definiely a 57 Chev convertable. It was immaculate.

Mustangs always get my attention.        The rear of this A model  tourer looks fantastic.   Louvers are the go.

The front of the same l A  mode with wild flames and lake pipes. Very nice. The next pic is one of my picks as the best there. A Mercury with just the right look.

Even the engine is as good as the body.               I was told there were a heap of choppers around. I couldn't find any.

I knew she would notice me.                       The next pic is night cruising. This Willys was very nice in deed.

Yep, another Mustang. There were quite a few around.           Thunderbirds are another classic that I like.

Nice FC with a 186 I think.  This little Morris 8 ,series ( E I'm told )  pick up had a wild paint scheme. I kept going back to it.

Its big and blue and nice.                                   Mini hogs for sale. For the kid that has everything I guess.

Very nice pick up. I like the stance.                                                                         Yeah...its a Mustang

Want something big to cruise in?                                                                    Neat Tudor

Mopar coupes are not thick on the ground. This one looks the goods. Now how about a back to front car. This is a Studibaker

This was done up as a GT. I can't tell you if its real or not. Still looks cool.             How about a tear drop with the lot.

This looks like a 27 with a 32 grill ( look at the plate )..nice            This was drawing attention. A convertible Studibaker.

This FC wagon looked nice and a detailed 327 resided in the engine bay. very nice.
