Romans Breakfast 2007
| The Romans Hot Rod Club have been holding this breakfast run for many years and is only 2 minutes from my home. I haven't been for many years cause I was building the 37. Now it's finished, I decided to attend. Here are a few pics of some of the cars that took my interest. |
| Sorry for the blurred picture but I had to
get a pic of this coupe ute. Marg said that's the car she wants. I pointed
to our 37 that I've been toiling away on for the past 7 1/2 years and said
that will have to do, cause I aint building another car! The 32 coupe was real nice. |

| Another 32 coupe..I must be liking them more
now.
The corvette looked real nice in the turquoise and white colour scheme. |
| This A model looked stock and I was waiting
for it to start up, but missed it leaving. Te A woody was real classy, complete with surf board. |
| I took this pic cause this will be close to
what my 37s engine will look like soon, except I'll have the candy blue
highlights. The 57 convert had fuel injected on the side of the guards. I know they were around then, I would have liked to see the engine for real. It would have been interesting to see the technology back then. |

| I was talking to the owner of this boat tail roadster. He tells me the original builder was inspired by the Milner track cars of the 20s and 30s so he built this. I say inspired, cause it is not a direct replica. Still, it got plenty of attention. |
| The instruments are not period, but I guess
if you want to drive from Bathurst, as the owner did, you need to have
accurate instruments. Next, a tough looking 32 roadster sporting a nicely detailed 351 clevo. |
| I would not have thought that purple would
go with yellow, but it does...but I've been told I have no colour sense
anyway. The highboy 34 coupe with re steelies was nice as well. |
| Last, but not least, a stock looking 40 convertible. |
